Are you already eating balanced meals?  Then Power Up!  Let’s look at the timing.  Do you eat when you are hungry or go long stretches between meals or snacks?  Choose one day this week to tap into your hunger and adjust meals/snacks so you eat regularly (about every 3-4 hours*) throughout the day.

TIP: Have you ever found yourself eating well beyond fullness in the evenings? This is more likely to happen when you aren't getting the fuel you need during the day.  It’s common in our society to skip meal times because there is “so much work to do” but your body will work better (and therefore, so will you) when you eat regularly. Aim to give your body the nourishment it needs throughout the day.  Try spacing out meals and snacks.  Plan to eat every 3-4 hours as a start.   It will depend on how much you ate at your last meal or snack and what your body needs that day so use this as a guide and not a rule.  It takes practice but over time your body will tell you when to eat, not the clock.
